The Rechargeable Stun Gun shoots out a 4-meter wire with prongs which stick in about 1cm into the assailant’s body enabling the victim to stun the assailant from a distance. This device uses disposable replaceable cartridges which burn out after approximately 30 seconds of stunning. The set includes a Charger, 2 disposable Cartridges and a belt carry holster. The taser can also be used as a normal close range taser without the cartridges.
A Taser or conducted electrical weapon (CEW) is an electroshock weapon . It fires two small dart-like electrodes, which stay connected to the main unit by conductors, to deliver electric current to disrupt voluntary control of muscles causing “neuromuscular incapacitation”. Someone struck by a Taser experiences extreme pain and over-stimulation of sensory nerves and motor nerves, resulting in strong involuntary muscle contractions. Tasers will incapacitate, not just cause pain compliance, and are thus preferred by some law enforcement over non-Taser stun guns and other electronic control weapons, which, like a Taser when used solely in “Drive Stun” mode, can only do the latter.

Effect of short electrostatic shocks:
Brief electric shocks from a quarter of a second duration can already deter an attacker and cause minor muscle contractions.
Effective medium electric shocks:
Electric shocks of one to four seconds can bring an attacker to fall and cause disorientation.
